Membership

All persons, whether Italian or foreign, with solid moral backing and having an interest in the promotion of the Argentine Dogo breed may become members of the “ARGENTINE DOGO ITALIAN CLUB (DOGO ARGENTINO CLUB ITALIA)”. Their application shall be submitted in accordance with the manner prescribed hereunder and must be accepted by the Governing Council.

Members are grouped into ordinary and contributing members.

The yearly membership fee is:

Euro 30,00 for ordinary member
Euro 50,00 for contributing member

Both categories of members are entitled to the same rights and obligations towards the organization or that may originate from such membership; the only difference is the amount of membership fees which, for contributing members, shall be higher in the attempt of making a more significant gesture to support the organization’s initiatives and activities.

Members under the age of eighteen shall not be granted the right to vote. In order to guarantee the stability of the relationship between the organization and its members, every member shall benefit from the same special conditions as established by the organization within the applicable time limits and shall be given the same chance to participate to events organized by it.

In order to become a member of this society, you must submit a written application to DACI‘s Chairman by filling in the form available in this section. If it is your first application, the form must include the signatures of two existing DACI members sponsoring your entrance to the society.

The application must be submitted together with the copy of the payment due. Such request must include an official statement from the applicant who agrees to be bound by the provisions of these articles as well as to agree with any ruling taken by the organization’s Council or General Meeting. Every application is evaluated by the Council at its next earliest meeting. It means it could take some few weeks before you can receive your membership card. Yearly fees paid by members as contributions to the organization may not be revalued, nor reimbursed, nor assigned to a third party. Membership is valid from year to year and shall renew for a subsequent year in lack of a contrary formal resignation notice submitted by registered letter before 31 October. Membership to the Argentine Dogo Italian Club automatically entails membership to E.N.C.I. in the capacity of collective member. Thus, it entrust to all benefits and discounts on ENCI dogs papers prescribed for collective members, as well as to have free access to all ENCI-sponsored dogs fairs as audience.

In addition, you will receive ENCI’s monthly magazine “I nostri cani” (Our dogs) together with our “Four-month Bulletin” on Argentine Dogo.

If your contact details have not changed and do not need notification to DACI or ENCI, renewing your membership is simple: just make sure you have settled your annual membership fee and send a copy of the payment via fax or e-mail to the Society's secretary.
